In case you’ve missed it, after a lot of fan made trailers that looked truly amazing, we finally have a REAL teaser trailer for Thor Ragnarok.

Fans have been debating for years on what plot line Ragnarok would follow. Would it be the fall of Thor Odinson, the rise and return of Odinson and the conflict with the clone known as Ragnarok, or would we see something else entirely?

It would seem that we may have a few clues on that.

Take a look……..

I don’t know about you, but seeing Big Green in armor gets my heart going. Hinting at a Planet Hulk event would be cruel to fans without following through. It’s no secret that Hulk actor Mark Ruffalo has expressed interest in a Hulk solo film sourced from the Planet Hulk series of comics. Jeff Goldbloom is slated to play Grandmaster, ruler of the planet Sakaar. Those who are steeped in their comic book lore will immediately recognize this as the planet on which Planet Hulk took place.

This of course spawns more questions. The biggest being, “Are we actually getting a Planet Hulk movie?” More over, will we finally get a good Hulk solo film?

Those are answers that, as of now, are yet to be seen.

It’s VERY important to note that Benedict Cumberbatch is on the cast list, meaning we’ll begin to see a more expanded MCU take shape on the big screen, tying Doctor Strange to the MCU. Jurassic Park star Sam Neill is also on the cast list as a unknown character. While Neill hasn’t made big waves since 2001’s Jurassic Park III, I would be shocked if Sam was relegated to a small nonrecurring role. Especially seeing as how Ragnarok Director Taika Waititi worked with Neill previously on Hunt for the Wilderness People to great acclaim.

Dredd star, Karl Urban is slated to play fellow Asgardian, Skurge. Also known as the Executioner to comic fans. It would seem one foe isn’t enough for the god of thunder and lightning.

Acting powerhouse Cate Blanchett is appearing as the main villain Hela. Honestly, I’m excited to see what Blanchett can do in such a powerful and evil role.

Creed supporting actress Tessa Thompson makes her debut in the MCU as Valkyrie. Natalie Portman is trying to put distance between herself and her role as Jane Foster in the MCU. With that in mind, the estranged Asgurdian might have a unique dynamic with Thor. Just something to keep an eye on.

With the harsh reviews given to Dark World, it seems that Ragnarok will be more than expected. With a stellar cast, Doctor Strange, the Hulk and a mystery character, I highly doubt Thor: Ragnarok will be a disappointment.
