Lucifer officially debuted last night on FOX, much to the disappointment of One Million Moms. Based on the Neil Gaiman character, Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) is the Devil himself. After growing bored of his life in Hell, Lucifer abdicates his throne and sets up shop in The City of Angels, with the intent on helping mankind through it’s misery by making a person admit their deepest desire by using his telepathic abilities. Running the
nightclub Lux. He soon crosses paths with a Los Angeles detective, Chloe Decker (Lauren German), who seems to be immune to his devilish charm. He decides to help the LAPD punish the wicked. All the while Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside) is attempting to either convince Lucifer to return to the throne, or force him to.

Danny Trejo in 2009
A lot of stars have come around and have begun to throw their hat in the superhero movie ring. Tyrese Gibson campaigned very heavily for a Green Lantern role, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson won the role of Black Adam. We are all seeing the most successful hero campaign come to fruition right now, that of course being Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson/Deadpool. The most recent person to follow this pattern is none other than Machete himself, Danny Trejo.

It’s that time of year, I guess. Rumors, confirmations, allegations, myths, and speculations are running absolutely wild. It’s rumored that Netflix has optioned Marvel’s Punisher for a stand-alone series. It’s confirmed that Voltron is getting a television reboot. It’s speculated that the third Star Wars Anthology movie will be about Boba Fett (this columnist really hopes this one turns out to be correct). It’s a myth that Fred Rogers, AKA Mister Rodgers, was in the military (he spent his entire working career in television). Okay, that last one was for my own humor.
The boys got together for their second LIVE video broadcast. They have, since, gotten a better camera.
