But, I do want to point out some things you won’t want to miss in all the commotion between DC and Marvel. Symmetry Vol. 1 also drops today. Smaller publishers determine whether or not to continue a title based on how many trades are sold. SO BUY SYMMETRY!!!!! You won’t regret it. Well, those are the highlights for the week, there’s a ton more going on, of course. But let’s not waste time. We gotta get to the racks so we can actually get our books before they’re gone!

Lucifer,_title

The season finale was for Lucifer was a few weeks ago. If you didn’t see it, I feel sorry for you. It was a fantastic series through and through, and it’s no surprise that it has been green lit for a second season. Much to the disappointment of the hate group, One Million Moms, Lucifer has been met with smashing success as millions tune in each week. The production crew made sure to throw everything but the kitchen sink into the series, but have done so with style and class. Offering the depth of a star-studded intellectual drama movie, the laughs of a James Franco/Seth Rogen feature, as much action as the typical Arnold movie, and the AWW factor of a puppy and kitten cuddling, there’s no reason this series can’t last.

Captain America: Civil War has been out almost a week, and Civil War has been getting rave reviews all over. Everyone is talking about Captain America. In just over two weeks, FOX will release the next chapter in the X-Men franchise. So where’s the buzz?

Apocalypse was one of the X-Men’s greatest enemies. No doubt, this should be the most epic film in the franchise. So, why aren’t people excited to see the immortal mutant on screen? While Deadpool boasted a measly $58M budget, X-Men: Apocalypse is reported to have a monstrous budget of $234M. We can all agree that Deadpool was an incredible credit to our obsession. What can you buy for four times the price? The public doesn’t seem too interested in the answer. FOX has kept up with their rivals every step of the way. Behind the scenes photos “leaked” on social media, teaser trailer releases, even major press. So why might this movie fall off the nerd radar for the year?
