News and rumors have been flying since news broke that Disney is in talks to buy large pieces of Fox. Fox, of course houses a large piece of the Marvel Universe, including all Mutants (X-Men and all associated characters) and the Fantastic Four (and all major FF villains). The fact that (if this deal is goes through) all of Marvel’s characters could finally be under one studio could be a huge win for comic fans. Everyone wants to see Wolverine take on the Hulk on the big screen.

Comics are one of those things that will spend weeks being pretty good, and then on week will drop a figurative piano of greatness on your head. Call this piano week. JLA V Power Rangers, JLA Rebirth #1, three new true believers issues, Hal Jordan, Clark Kent, Jessica Jones, Kingpin and top it all off with Moonshine, and that’s a helluva week.

Buckle up kiddos, it’s going to be an awesome week.

Anyway, IT’S TIME TO RAID THE RACKS!!!

Just keep in mind, Think Tank and Zombie Tramp are TOP RATED TITLES, so don’t forget those. Lucas Stand #2 is out as well and #1 was fantastic!! Captain America: Civil War has been out almost a week, and Civil War has been getting rave reviews all over. Everyone is talking about Captain America. In just over two weeks, FOX will release the next chapter in the X-Men franchise. So where’s the buzz?

Apocalypse was one of the X-Men’s greatest enemies. No doubt, this should be the most epic film in the franchise. So, why aren’t people excited to see the immortal mutant on screen? While Deadpool boasted a measly $58M budget, X-Men: Apocalypse is reported to have a monstrous budget of $234M. We can all agree that Deadpool was an incredible credit to our obsession. What can you buy for four times the price? The public doesn’t seem too interested in the answer. FOX has kept up with their rivals every step of the way. Behind the scenes photos “leaked” on social media, teaser trailer releases, even major press. So why might this movie fall off the nerd radar for the year?
