Alright, the polls are closed and you have chosen the Best of 2016. Some of these results were really close. We had to bring in a tie breaker on more than a few of these categories. But, 2016 was a great year for nerds and 2017 looks to be an even better one.

Without any more bantering, here’s the results of the Best of 2016 Poll!!!

Basically, if you were watching three hours of TV to see twenty minutes of football, your Sunday sucked.

The guys get together and discuss what trouble Supergirl is in, Old Man Logan #1, Batman and Punisher, and who could play Lobo, Perlman or Trejo.

Lucifer officially debuted last night on FOX, much to the disappointment of One Million Moms. Based on the Neil Gaiman character, Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) is the Devil himself. After growing bored of his life in Hell, Lucifer abdicates his throne and sets up shop in The City of Angels, with the intent on helping mankind through it’s misery by making a person admit their deepest desire by using his telepathic abilities. Running the
nightclub Lux. He soon crosses paths with a Los Angeles detective, Chloe Decker (Lauren German), who seems to be immune to his devilish charm. He decides to help the LAPD punish the wicked. All the while Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside) is attempting to either convince Lucifer to return to the throne, or force him to.

The boys got together for their second LIVE video broadcast. They have, since, gotten a better camera.

Several months back, we took the time to let you, the good people, know what we were up to. Among that list was a YouTube channel for our podcasts and interviews. Unfortunately, all that has made it on the channel so far is too videos of a round table with Kevin Eastman. Last week we did a live video feed on but still no YouTube. As of this morning, I’m happy to report that promise is finally reaching fruition. Last night, a live streaming test was performed with great success! So, look forward to seeing our ugly mugs every Sunday night!!

We’ve been hard at work for all you fans out there. We have a lot going on behind the scenes to bring you more news, more reviews, and in better ways.

We will soon be on YouTube with our own channel. The current plan will give you interviews with people from the various industries that we cover. We would also like to give you a video podcast, and if feasible, a live video feed on Sunday nights.

Also coming, will be our own vape line thanks to Captain Jack’s E-lixers. All fluids will be hero or villain associated names and flavors. We have two flavors confirmed with much much more in R&D.

Manga is completely autonomous from traditional comic books, but is still a comic book. So, Chris will be getting his own section HERE for all our Manga fans.

We also are in development stages for a charity. This charity will give comics to children who are in need and well deserving. Everyone needs a hero.

There is much more that is being discussed. As things move along towards fruition, we will keep all of you informed on all of the details. We hope you’re as excited as we are for these expansions.

Don’t forget to like often, share often, and listen often.

Listen in Friday, May 22 at 6pm CST. We will be LIVE from Comicpalooza!

In 1989, Nintendo teamed up with Universal Pictures and created The Wizard. The Wizard was a coming-of-age story about a young boy named Jimmy, who became obsessed with going to California after his twin sister drowned. Eventually, he ran away with his brother, Corey, and they soon discovered Jimmy’s innate ability to master video games. They met a girl along the way who convinced Jimmy to go to Los Angeles to a video game competition called Video Game Armageddon. The movie was riddled with Nintendo references, and has been called “a feature-length commercial” by many viewers. Shortly after the movie was released, Nintendo held their first Nintendo World Championships.

The big news for today is this: twenty-five years later, Nintendo will finally be relaunching the Nintendo World Championships. As laid out by Nintendo, the competition will begin on the 30th of May at eight selected Best Buy locations in major cities around the country. The winner of each of these Regional Championships will face-off with each other, along with eight other competitors invited to compete by Nintendo. The Championship will be held during the Electronic Entertainment Expo on the 14th of June in Los Angeles, California. The competitors will take part in a multi-round competition with selected Nintendo games on selected devices. The winner of this event will be crowned the 2015 Nintendo World Champion. The Championship will be available for interested parties to watch online.
The competition will begin at selected Best Buy locations in the following cities:

  • San Francisco, CA
  • Torrance, CA
  • Miami, FL
  • Schaumburg, IL
  • Maple Grove, MN
  • Long Island City, NY
  • Dallas, TX
  • Tacoma, WA

Listen in Friday 6pm CST! We will be broadcasting LIVE from Comicpalooza 2015
