Review by Chris
Series Summary: Three years ago, the world learned that harpies, centaurs, catgirls, and all manners of fabulous creatures are not merely fiction; they are flesh and blood – not to mention scale, feather, horn, fang and more.  Thanks to the “Cultural Exchange Between Species Act,” these once-mythical creatures have assimilated into society, or at least, they’re trying.

When a hapless human teenager named Kurusu Kimihito is inducted as a “volunteer” into the government exchange program, his world is turned upside down. A snake-like lamia named Miia comes to live with him, and it is Kurusu’s job to take care of her and make sure she integrates into his everyday life.

Episode 6: Everyday Life Shedding and Egg Laying

Well it just so happens that Kurusu would eventually run into normal things that a snake, harpy, centaur, slime, and a mermaid goes through; Miia needs to shed and Papi needs to lay an egg.

As Miia is trying to learn the whole wifey aspect of life, cooking and cleaning, she finds that she is horrible at it. It’s actually because she knows she is going to shed and is stressed about it. With terribly funny mishaps in the kitchen, Papi so calmly and ever so cutely states that she is going to lay an egg. So innocent and carefree, everyone helps out with this feat. All the while a “director” shows up and “needs” to video everything about the household and the girls PANTIES! This perv is a fake and is caught. And yet again Kurusu belts him a good Hellboy to the face. Turns out he’s working for another Monster Girl…

Quick review

My lord this one was extremely funny. No wonder this series has hit Crunchyroll’s top popular list. I go back on what I’ve said before and they slowed down just a little on the character reveals. So far I believe Monster Musume could put out a few successful seasons. Still with all the fan service glory and comedy I LOVE THIS SERIES. Again the direction, animation, and voice acting is superb. This episodes rating is definitely a 5 Joystix up!
You can watch them as they release with a Crunchyroll membership viewable on mobiles tablets and gaming systems.

Presented by Sentai Filmworks. The manga’s are published by Seven Seas with 7 volumes available currently. Get them here:
