Review by Chris
Series Summary: Three years ago, the world learned that harpies, centaurs, catgirls, and all manners of fabulous creatures are not merely fiction; they are flesh and blood – not to mention scale, feather, horn, fang and more.  Thanks to the “Cultural Exchange Between Species Act,” these once-mythical creatures have assimilated into society, or at least, they’re trying.

When a hapless human teenager named Kurusu Kimihito is inducted as a “volunteer” into the government exchange program, his world is turned upside down. A snake-like lamia named Miia comes to live with him, and it is Kurusu’s job to take care of her and make sure she integrates into his everyday life.

Episode 5: Everyday Life with a Mermaid

As more shenanigans are happening in the Kurusu household, the “Cultural Exchange Students” suspect Smith-San about letting Suu the Slime staying there with them. But it’s not Smith-San they should worry about. As the government organization abruptly shows up to the house, the monster girls disappear. Trying to keep Suu under cover, they end up at the nearby park again, hiding from agents. Surprises happen when Suu “attacks” the other girls. Kurusu heads out to look for the girls, knowing they shouldn’t be out without their master. He hears a helpless normal looking girl in a wheelchair. Turns out she’s his new “catch”. Enter: Mero the Mermaid!

Quick review

WHOA! Hold on lol. This one gets raunchy as hell. The scene when the girls are hiding in the park gets unnessecarily sexual. BUT it is still funny. Not XXX in any way. Awesome addition to the girls lineup with a mermaid. Because of Kurusu keeping innocence the girls get rough with each other again. Very slapstick and I love it. This time I give this episode a 4.5 joystix up (4.5 stars). The main reason is I think they are introducing the characters way too fast also with no intimate background. I really hope we get some very good back story. Although it IS setup for great in depth back story. 🙂
