Review by Chris
Series Summary: Three years ago, the world learned that harpies, centaurs, catgirls, and all manners of fabulous creatures are not merely fiction; they are flesh and blood – not to mention scale, feather, horn, fang and more.  Thanks to the “Cultural Exchange Between Species Act,” these once-mythical creatures have assimilated into society, or at least, they’re trying.

When a hapless human teenager named Kurusu Kimihito is inducted as a “volunteer” into the government exchange program, his world is turned upside down. A snake-like lamia named Miia comes to live with him, and it is Kurusu’s job to take care of her and make sure she integrates into his everyday life.

Episode 3: Monster Musume – Everyday Life with Dangerous Circumstances

The Kurusu family’s homestay grows to three in the blink of an eye. Not yet accustomed to living with three monster girls, Kimihito’s life is a series of disasters. When Miia sees Kimihito helping others, her jealousy boils over. With each girl loving Kimihito in their own way, they eventually come to blows! Speaking of integrating into everyday life, Smith-san thinks it’s a great idea if he marries one of them…

Episode 4: Monster Musume – Everyday Life with a Slime

After all the calm-down, it’s time to relax and cook for the ever-growing family. With a pot of water on the stove, out comes a gelatinous head with eyes to scare the barf out of Kurusu. The family tries to kill it like it’s a rodent, along with more slapstick fun! Once they give up, the blob takes a female form in the bathroom with Cerea and Kurusu. The blob seems like a child as it tries to copy actions and words innocently. Looks like the “family” is going to grow by one more yet again. She gets named Suu 🙂

Quick review

I can’t say it enough, this series makes me laugh while blushing. The never-ending slapstick adventures never get old, along with the harem and ecchi aspect. There’s cute girls, nose-bleeds, great story, a (odd) family aspect, slapstick comedy and more.

I believe it’s a good fit and is going to be a great hit! Every episode so far I give 5 joystix up! (5 stars) My ratings are based on the writing, animation, and voice qualities. Dear god I’d love to see this one turned into a live-action film. Not to mention the coming cosplays, should be very interesting.
You can watch them as they release with a Crunchyroll membership viewable on mobiles tablets and gaming systems.

Presented by Sentai Filmworks. The manga’s are published by Seven Seas with 7 volumes available currently. Get them here:
